Chinese Garden Cities

One of the major contributing factors for the continuing growth in China is the migration of the population from rural areas into urban areas. We came across an article that looks at how these merging communities could perhaps be better integrated with the creation of Garden Cities and Urban Farms. Around 400 million Chinese people are expected to move from rural areas into cities over the next 13 years – a staggering number of people all who will need to have the infrastructure to live, work and learn built for them – easy to see why long term, growth prospects within Property and Construction remain very positive, even with the slightly more cautious sentiment in China right now.
